HereJustNow is a temporary local board without public profiles or behavioral tracking. Post a paid task, local offer, favor, or update for 60 minutes, with an optional 24-hour Spotlight.
Share location in your browser. The server binds the browser-reported point to your session so you can see posts whose estimated drive time is shorter than the time they have left. Access expires after 15 minutes; re-share to continue. The browser location is not verified physical presence. Driving time is estimated from straight-line distance at 24 mph (2.5 minutes per mile); it does not use road routing or live traffic. We do not request background location or record a route.
Use Pay for when you need a service or item, Get paid to offer a service or item for pay, FREE / FAVOR for a free exchange, and LOCAL CHAT for nearby discussion. Standard posts can include one image or GIF and optional video contact. Keep it brief. Keep it local.
Reply to an active nearby post to open its public thread. Optional video communication uses temporary signaling state. Avoid sharing sensitive personal information in posts or replies.
Need more time? A one-time $0.99 paid upgrade keeps a post active for 24 hours and may show it higher nearby.
There is no registration form or public profile. Anonymous authentication, session access, reconnect PINs, and optional notifications use limited functional identifiers and expiring state. See Privacy & Data. Clearing browser site data can remove your connection to active posts.
All transactions are handled externally by Stripe. HereJustNow does not receive your full card details; restricted financial receipts may be kept for payment and accounting obligations. Your $0.99 payment is a one-time fee that keeps one post active for 24 hours. There are absolutely no recurring subscriptions.
Active Period: A post with the paid upgrade stays active for 24 hours from confirmed payment and may show higher nearby.
The Reaper: After 24 hours, the post and its replies become inaccessible through the application. Deletion of active database content and uploaded files runs asynchronously. Restricted Firestore point-in-time recovery (PITR) may retain recoverable database versions for up to seven days for disaster recovery; it is not served as public history. Downloaded copies and notification previews cannot be recalled.
Refunds: Because this is a live market, we do not offer refunds once the paid upgrade has been activated.
By posting, you agree to keep it neighborly. Locals can instantly flag posts for inappropriate behavior, concealing them behind a community warning. We reserve the right to remove paid-upgrade content containing illegal material, hate speech, or harassment. Removed posts are not eligible for a refund.
When meeting a neighbor for a transaction or local action, always prioritize your safety. Meet in public, well-lit areas during daylight hours. Review the HJN Safe Meetup Guide.
