The username you pick has to be unique. It'll go in your homepage url. Use the same one you use EVERYWHERE ELSE. Don't put unicode in it. I mean, you CAN, but you'll regret it.

I mean, it's like your email address. I don't need a username, I have a perfectly good opaque internal identifier. I am a SLAVE to CONVENTION. And something has to go in the url.
